CADEAUX JEWELRY 2-Prongs

In 1975 Evert Hofacker establishes CADEAUX JEWELRY in Germany. As professional sculptor and goldsmith Evert combines art, design and method to create a singular jewelry identity that captures the spirit of an era, much like free-form in Jazz. Evert invents the 2-Prong-Setting for diamonds, giving CADEAUX JEWELRY unmistakable character regardless of shape or form. A patent is granted for this innovation that embeds the gems in solid gold and secures them laterally with 2 elongated prongs, enhancing the diamond’s visibility and lustre and the setting’s resilience. The 2-Prong-Setting is a unique signature line, rare in jewelry, that underscores the originality of the brand and that continues to be admired to this day, most notably in Jazz II and Flamenco.

Bangle JAZZ II

Bangle Jazz II exemplifies the fusion of art, design and method to create a single jewelry identity. Jazz II captures the spirit of the 1970s prevalent in free-form jazz. CADEAUX JEWELRY’S innovative 2-Prong-Setting secures and enhances the lustre of brilliant-cut diamonds on 2 free-flowing gold bands, giving an unmistakable identity to an asymmetrical free-form that combines with the underlying solidity of an 18 Karat white gold bangle. An 18 Karat gold clasp with a double safety feature provides for safe and easy wearing.

Ring FLAMENCO

Ring Flamenco features CADEAUX JEWELRY’S original single identity on a reduced scale adapted to a finger, blending creativity and methodology with competence and capturing the free-form spirit prevalent in the 1970s. CADEAUX JEWELRY’S innovative 2-Prong-Setting uses laterally attached 18 karat white gold prongs to secure and enhance the lustre of brilliant-cut diamonds on two free-flowing intertwined 18 Karat white gold bands, evocative of the flow of body and fabric in the Flamenco dance.

Bangle JAZZ I

Bangle Jazz I is a lighter version of CADEAUX JEWELRY’S original single identity bangle that blends creativity and methodology with competence and captures the 1970s free-form spirit prevalent in jazz fusion music. CADEAUX JEWELRY’S innovative 2-Prong-Setting uses 18 karat white gold prongs to secure and enhance the lustre of brilliant-cut diamonds on a single free-flowing 18 Karat rose gold band, lending an unmistakable identity to an asymmetrical free-form that synthesises with the underlying solidity of an 18 Karat rose gold bangle. An 18 Karat gold clasp with a double safety feature provides for safe and easy wearing.

Earpieces JAZZ I Small

Earpieces Jazz I Small are a minimised version of CADEAUX JEWELRY’S original Jazz earpieces. Their design blends creativity and methodology with the 1970s free-form spirit prevalent in jazz fusion. CADEAUX JEWELRY’S innovative 2-Prong-Setting uses 18 karat white gold prongs to secure and enhance the lustre of brilliant-cut diamonds on a curled free-flowing 18 Karat white gold band, lending an unmistakable identity to this asymmetrical free-form. The earpieces are made as studs and are suitable for pierced earlobes.

Ring BOLERO

Ring Bolero portrays CADEAUX JEWELRY’S original single identity in a combination of modernistic forms, characterised by a large open circle as a ring head. CADEAUX JEWELRY’S innovative 2-Prong-Settings encompass the ring head using laterally attached 18 karat white gold prongs to secure and enhance the lustre of brilliant-cut diamonds. The Circle represents a continuous form evocative of the recurring musical theme in Maurice Ravel’s Bolero.

Edition: Ring BOLERO ELEPHANT-OPIUM-WEIGHT

Ring Bolero with its large open circle lends itself perfectly to the addition of a gemstone or a miniaturised sculpture inside the open ring head. In this Ring Bolero Opium-Weight Edition, a small opium-weight in the form of an Elephant with Howdah made of solid Au 999 Fine-Gold and weighing approximately 15g, cast from an original opium-weight from the Golden Triangle, provides a unique variety for collectors. CADEAUX JEWELRY’S innovative 2-Prong-Setting that uses laterally attached 18 karat white gold prongs to secure and enhance the lustre of brilliant-cut diamonds, provides CADEAUX JEWELRY’S original identity.

Edition: Necklace Soul

Unique necklace with an Ametrine (natural combination of Amethyst and Citrine), carved by the late Swiss-Australian artist Bruno Moser, and set in 18 Karat gold with diamonds, which are set by CADEAUX JEWELRY’S innovative 2-Prong-Setting that uses laterally attached 18 Karat white gold prongs to secure and enhance the lustre of brilliant-cut diamonds and provides CADEAUX JEWELRY’S original identity. Bruno began carving gems into wonderful sculptures in the 1970s and held many exhibitions in Asia and all over the world. His sculptures are one-of-a-kind and cannot be copied.  The Ametrine in this piece was acquired by CADEAUX JEWELRY with a number of unique Bruno Moser sculptures that were turned into exclusive jewelry.
