Evert Hofacker

Born 1932 in Utrecht, Holland. Sculptor and goldsmith of Koblenz, Germany, Evert Hofacker launched the first collection of CADEAUX JEWELRY in 1975. With a keen vision to creating a unique, typical and significant jewelry brand, Evert developed an innovative system of diamond setting, based on only 2 prongs. Having registered a patent in 1977, he set out to build CADEAUX JEWELRY as an unmistakable jewelry brand on the basis of crystal clear and highly characteristic design elements. The 2-prong setting remains an exceptional method of setting diamonds to this day.
